STARRY 4

The serial number can be found on the sticker on the bottom of the box. The security code (16 numbers) can be found on the sticker after scraping off the coating. Consumers can use the code to verify the product. Both of the serial number and security number will be required when applying for warranty.

XVAPE STARRY4 comes with 12 months of warranty and it covers the main body with electronic components except for normal degradation of batteries, ceramic components, mouthpiece part, consumer damage, cosmetic damage and accessories.

The additional accessories for the Starry 4 are a glass adapter, glass bubbler, ceramic adapter, dosing capsule, concentrate metal pad, wax cup and 18650 2550mAh battery.

The maximum temperature is 240℃/464℉, the minimum temperature is 100℃/212℉.

Starry 4 uses a removable 18650 2550mAh (Lithium-Polymer) battery.

Please use the provided USB C charging cable or other standard USB charger to charge the device, and please ensure the input is no more than 5V/1A. Or if you have other working 18650 2550mAh battery, you can install it into the device for use.

No, we don’t suggest consumers to use XMAX STARRY4 or any electronic products while charging.

When charging the device for the first time, we recommend charging for more than 6 hours.

Later, if you use a 5V/1A charger, 3 hours is enough to charge the device fully; if a 5V/500ma charger, 4-5 hours will be needed; if a charger exceeding 5V/2A, the device will stop being charged. Because XMAX STARRY4 owns a automatic charging protection from the chargers exceeding 5V/2A.

The battery can be used at least 12 sessions under the 4mins session and the highest temperature of 240℃/464℉after each full charging.

Besides, the lifetime of the 18650 2550mAh battery is 350 times of cycle use and charging. The battery will decline after the 350 times of charging use.

The capacity of oven bowl/heating chamber is about 1.35ml, and the size is L37.5mm*W24mm*H115.9mm. Our suggestion is easy, please don’t load too much or overload the materials when using the device.

  • Turn on/off: Press the power button for 3 times to turn on/off. Once turned on, the device starts to heat up.
  • Temperature adjust: Press the “+” button to increase temperature while the “-” button to decrease the temperature.
  • Working time switch: Press the power button and “+” button together for 2 seconds to switch the working time to 4mins/6mins /10mins.
  • Celsius()/Fahrenheit() switch: Press the power button and “-” button together for 2 seconds to switch the temperature unit to Celsius(℃)/Fahrenheit(℉).

The STARRY4 uses a conduction ceramic chamber/oven to heat up and vaporize the dry herb or other materials.

It really depends on user preference. General advice would be to lower the temperature for lighter sensations and increase the temperature for heavier sensations. For XVAPE STARRY4, temperature ranges from 100℃ to 240℃(212℉-464℉). Press the “+” button or “-” button to let the device reach your favorite temperature.

Usually after 20 seconds of heating up, the temperature is good enough for consumers to start vaping. But everyone has different requirement for temperature. If you want the temperature to reach 240℃/ 464℉, you may need to wait 30 seconds.

There are few ways to ensure dense vapor producing:

Temperature: The higher temperature, the denser vapor will be.

Heating time: More heating time can help to produce denser vapor.

Inhaling: Slow and long inhaling can help you get much denser vapor, and make the vapor taste better.

Materials amount: Please don’t load too much/overload materials. Too much loading may cause uneven heating and even block the filter component and mouthpiece, so that the vapor cannot pass to the tip smoothly.

Materials quality: If the materials are wet or the quality are too bad, not much vapor can be produced.

Adjust airflow button: Adjust the airflow , more airflow can get denser vapor.

Push the air adjustment button up and down to adjust the smoothness of the airflow.

Hold the up button and down button at the same time for 2 seconds.

Mouthpiece: Ceramic

Chamber: Ceramic

Filter component: Ceramic and silicone

And of course, the materials of these components are certificated and passed the food-grade material inspection.

Please install well the wax cup or concentrate metal pad into chamber before loading any wax/concentrate. These accessories are specifically designed for helping users to vaporize wax/concentrate.

Yes, the filter components are removable and can be removed with a gentle dig.

It’s normal for the device to get hot, as it is basically a mini oven. The device must be filled in the materials and in constant use while it is on. Otherwise, it will become a bit hot.

If you have to pause while in use or when putting the device down, we recommend turning the device off completely so it’ll stop heating up and producing vapor.

  • Please ask the seller for help first. In most cases, the seller can help consumers to solve the problem about XVAPE STARRY4.
  • If the problem is still not resolved, please contact XVAPE AFS team for support, email to support@xvapeusa.com with any issues you have concerning our products. You will receive a reply and solution of the defective product within 24 hours.

Most causes of “sensor error” is the ceramic heating chamber getting cracked.

  • Please check whether there are cracks in the inner wall of chamber. If consumers accidentally break the inner wall when cleaning the chamber, sorry, the warranty of XVAPE STARRY4 does not cover this kind of man-made damage. Please buy a new one from the seller.
  • If you found any cracks on the inner wall of chamber before using the device, or there is no crack at all but the “sensor error” is still displayed after turning on the device, please take a video of the defective device working after it was turned on, make sure we can see the “sensor error”. Then please contact TOPGREEN AFS team for support, and send the video to support@xvapeusa.com(Note: no use of oil/liquid in XMAX STARRY4). You will receive a reply and a solution of the defective product within 24 hours.

There are several reasons why the device cannot be charged.

  • Please use the USB C charging cable provided in the XVAPE STARRY4 standard kit contents when charging, or other working USB chargers that are adapted to the range of 5V1A. Please don’t use any chargers that exceeding 5V/2A, because the device can only be charged with the charger which is in the range below 5V2A.

Please check whether the USB C charging port is damaged. If it was the consumer that accidentally damaged the charging port during the before charges, then this will be defined as man-made damage. Sorry, the warranty of XVAPE STARRY4 does not cover this kind of man-made damage. Please buy a new one from the seller.

  • If consumers find that the device cannot be charged after taking it out of the box, please take pictures or a video to confirm if the charging port is damaged. Then please contact XVAPE AFS team for support, and send them to support@xvapeusa.com. You will receive a reply and solution of defective product within 24 hours.
  • Please make sure that the battery lid is closed tightly when charging.
  • Please check whether there is any foreign matter or dirt in the part where the battery contacts the device. If so, please clean them up and try to charge again.
  • If possible, please install another working 18650 2550mAh battery to see if it is the battery’s problem.
  • If still blank, please take a video of the defective device and send it to support@xvapeusa.com, contact XVAPE AFS team for support. You will receive a reply and solution of defective product within 24 hours.

If “Out short” appears suddenly when the device is working, it may be caused by a sudden impact. Because the battery contact section is a spring electrode, impact may causes the device to instantaneously short circuit and appear “Out short”. Please restart the device for normal use, but pay attention to avoid any impact in the following use of the device.

  • If the display shows “Out short” immediately when the device is turned on, it may be caused by poor contact between battery and device. Please check whether there is any foreign matter or dirt in the part where battery contacts the device. If so, please clean them up and try to start the device again.
  • If still useless, please take a video of the defective device and send it to support@xvapeusa.com, contact XVAPE AFS team for support. You will receive a reply and a solution of the defective product within 24 hours.
  • Please confirm whether the power button is stuck, so that it cannot be turned on normally.
  • Please make sure that the battery lid has been closed properly, and then press the battery lid tightly to try again whether it can be turned on properly.
  • Please check whether there is any foreign matter or dirt in the part where battery contacts the device. If so, please clean them up and try to start the device again.
  • If possible, please install another working 18650 2550mAh battery to see if it is the battery problem.
  • If still blank, please take a video of the defective device and send it to support@xvapeusa.com, contact XVAPE AFS team for support. You will receive a reply and solution of the defective product within 24 hours.

To maintain your XVAPE STARRY4, it’s recommended to clean the chamber and the mouthpiece after each use.

  • Clean the mouthpiece: Use a cotton swab and wipe the inner part of the mouthpiece then wipe again with a damp paper towel.
  • Clean the filters: Prepare a glass container filled with isopropyl alcohol. Then remove the filters from magnet cap, and clean them with the isopropyl alcohol in the container.
  • Clean the chamber: Wet a cotton swab in the alcohol. Then insert into the chamber and scrub the side and bottom with a circular motion.
  • Clean the device: After soaking, remove any remaining debris by a cotton swab. Then allow the whole device to dry completely before use.
